Childhood Necklaces 2012
This series of necklaces is an exploration of my own childhood and family narrative. Using photos from my childhood as guides, I selected different objects or actions that I remembered clearly. By abstracting some, and making literal translations of others I played with the significance of different memories, as well as suggest our how perspectives alter as we grow.
